Weathering the Weather

Well, I guess it had to happen sooner or later... after near-record temperatures of 70+ this week, today the temps are dropping into the 40's with misty rain and snow... it's supposed to be getting colder this afternoon and evening with the snow increasing. Looks like we just might be in for a "White Thanksgiving" this year! While we aren't looking forward to that, spending time with family (and eating too much turkey and pie) will be great! Here's hoping your Thanksgiving is great!!!

Giving Thanks

Family, friends, even our pets... WOW... they can really get under our skin, can't they? But... (admit it; they can really be frustrating at times) where would we be without them? Who else can we call on in emergencies... who else can we lean on when we need emotional support... who else can help us celebrate the really great times in our lives? Thanksgiving week seems to be the one time every year when we give that some thought...
